‘Devastated’: Efforts to save 100kg turtle fail
The Redland Bay Coast Guard were called to the eastern end of Karragarra Island, off the coast of Redland City on Saturday.
Taking to Facebook the same day, the Coast Guard team wrote they were “feeling devastated” after failed efforts to save the turtle.“The team was left speechless today,” the Facebook post read.“A reminder for fishos to look after their pots when they had to respond to calls of a turtle caught in crab pots.
