Detective ‘dragged’ in dramatic Coast arrest
Sunshine Coast Property Crime Task Force officer Peter Hocken said a search for a Toyota Kluger that had been stolen from Nambour a few days earlier came to a dramatic end about 5.40pm Thursday.
Detective Sergeant Hocken said Nambour detectives came across the vehicle on Webster Rd.
He said an officer tried to arrest a man driving the Kluger.
“During that arrest, the person … has continued to drive that vehicle to evade arrest,” Sgt Hocken said.
