Designer Mossimo Giannulli released from US prison after college bribery scheme conviction

Fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli is now under house imprisonment for his role in a university admissions bribery scheme, according to a person familiar with the case.

- Mossimo Giannulli’s home confinement will end on April 17
- He and his wife were imprisoned for bribery to get their children into university
- His wife, Lori Loughlin, was released from prison in December
Giannulli, 57, is married to former Full House star Lori Loughlin.
The pair pleaded guilty last year to paying $US500,000 ($650,000) to get their two daughters into the University of Southern California.
They were sentenced to prison in California.
Loughlin was released from prison in December after spending two months behind bars.
