Melbourne great Gerard Healy strongly believes Demons president Glenn Bartlett would not have made such strong statements if he didn’t have an out to remove Simon Goodwin from his coaching position.
The Demons were thumped by Port Adelaide on Thursday night, with club legend Garry Lyon teeing off on Melbourne at half-time of the match, declaring they were insipid, pathetic and shambolic.
