Demons victorious in AFLW, injury cloud over Daisy Pearce – The Age
Melbourne have defeated the Brisbane Lions to secure themselves a home qualifying final in the AFLW. But there are injury fears for Daisy Pearce.
Former Demons co-captain Shelley Scott quickly got the home side on the board as her teammates dominated the contest in the first term.
Lion Dakota Davidson silenced them with a major early in the second, teammate Courtney Hodder following suit to slot one on the run, while Demon Karen Paxman responded with a major from just her fifth touch.
One goal wasnt enough for Lion Davidson and Demon Scott, both booting their second for the day.
