She told Adelaide breakfast radio that because she was working from such a young age, she didnt come up for air until her late 20s.
Goodrem told The Hit Network she cant remember what her first drink was but appeared amused with how fascinated the hosts were.
The singer is bringing out a new album and book which are both called Bridge Over Troubled Dreams.
