Delta Aquarids meteor shower 2020 UK – best day and time to see shooting stars – Birmingham Live
Also known as the Southern Delta Aquariids, the meteors are formed of dust from a comet and appear in July and August
The sky is being lit up with the signs of celestial visitors as the Delta Aquarids make an appearance.
And the peak of this latest meteor shower is now upon us.
This year, the Delta Aquarids are active from July 12 to August 23.
And they are expected to peak on the nights of July 28 and 29, when up to 20 shooting stars per hour could be visible.
