Death threats ‘common’ for players in NRL says Storm star – Sydney Morning Herald
After Giants AFL star received death threats over the weekend, Ryan Papenhuyzen said it was all too common on social media.

He said it was never a player’s intention to lose punters their money or “make people’s Supercoach score as low as possible”.
“It’s quite annoying,” Papenhuyzen said. “I get why people do it, but there’s not much need for it. We don’t go out to lose people’s bets or make people’s Supercoach score as low as possible. We go out to win.”
