Mark Taylor has lifted the lid on the day Dean Jones openly discussed his issues, despite remaining active well into his 50s.
Mark Taylor has revealed fellow Australian cricket great Dean Jones had shared health concerns with friends as early as four years ago, despite remaining reasonably fit for his age.
Jones died aged 59 on Thursday after suffering a heart attack at a Mumbai hotel.
Unconfirmed reports have suggested the former Test and one-day star had recently returned from a run.
Taylor said his ex-teammate – a keen golfer – was committed to exercise well after his career ended in 1998.
