De Goey appears before court on driving offences – The Age
Collingwood star Jordan De Goey has failed in an attempt to have driving charges adjourned to the same date as his contested hearing for indecent assault.
The charge sheets also allege that on July 6, 2019 – the day after Collingwood lost by four points to Hawthorn – the footballer drove in South Yarra while his licence was suspended and that he used a mobile phone when he shouldnt have.
Mr De Goey is yet to formally enter a plea on the indecent assault charge but will fight the allegation at the contested hearing.
