Day finishes fifth in Rising Star voting – Hawthorn FC
Hawks young gun Will Day has finished fifth in the voting for the 2020 Rising Star award after a stunning debut season in the brown and gold.
Fremantle’s Caleb Serong took out the award, polling 48 of a possible 50 votes, with Sun Noah Anderson (39 votes), Saint Max King (28) and Sun Izak Rankine (16) ahead of Day who polled 12 votes.
Lion Brandon Starcevich (six votes) and Dee Kysaiah Pickett (one) were the only other players to receive votes.
