David Honey set to become leader of WA Liberals
Liberal Member for Vasse Libby Mettam has confirmed she will not be seeking leadership of the WA Liberal Party.

- Acting party leader Libby Mettam has ruled out seeking leadership
Ms Mettam and David Honey, the Member for Cottesloe, are the only two Liberals to have won their seats in WA’s Lower House.
Ms Mettam, who is currently the party’s acting leader, said Mr Honey had the support required to become leader.
“I have given it some thought,” she said.
“David Honey has the overwhelming support of the parliamentary Liberal Party.
