Here’s when your wallet will get a refresh.
Australians will have a new addition to their wallets as of 29 October 2020 when the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) officially puts the fresh $100 note into circulation.
The new note is the last step in an overhaul of the Australian currency system, and is set to eventually replace the 400 million $100 notes already in circulation.
Existing $100 notes are still legal tender and can be used, the RBA has confirmed.
