Residents the length of Florida reported a bright fireball blazing across the night sky on April 12. The National Weather Service said its Geostationary Lightning Mapper (GLM) captured a “bright meteor as it burned up off the coast.” The American Meteor Society said it received more than 250 reports of sightings, from Miami to Jacksonville. Among those who captured footage of the meteor was Instagram user @grassrootstesla. They told Storyful the footage was captured via dashcam in Land O’ Lakes….
