Australia’s Daniel Ricciardo has admitted his fellow Formula One drivers may be too proud to suggest safety improvements for the sport, in the wake of Romain Grosjean’s horror crash in Bahrain.
The Frenchman was lucky to survive an opening-lap fireball in November, his car splitting in half on impact with the barrier.
Grosjean, who had already been dropped by the Haas team for 2021, won’t race in Formula One this year. A fortnight ago, he posted to Twitter that the dressings had finally been removed…
