Daniel Morcombe’s parents welcome grandchild who was born on ‘Day for Daniel’

The parents of murdered schoolboy Daniel Morcombe have welcomed a grandchild into this world on the same day as ‘Day for Daniel’.

Bruce and Denise Morcombe took to social media to share the wonderful news that came on a day so close to their hearts.

‘Day for Daniel’ takes place annually on the last Friday of October.

It’s known as “Australia’s largest day of action to raise awareness of child safety, protection, and harm prevention”.
