Daniel Andrews to push National Cabinet to adopt Victoria’s COVID measures amid UK coronavirus strain fears

Daniel Andrews says he has cut short his leave ahead of tomorrow’s National Cabinet meeting, so he can push to have Victoria’s strengthened coronavirus measures implemented nationwide.

The Prime Minister requested the special meeting with the premiers and chief ministers to discuss the threat posed by a mutant strain of the COVID-19 virus that has emerged in the United Kingdom.
The next National Cabinet meeting wasn’t scheduled until early February.
