Dangerous driving charge – Upper Coomera

A 17-year-old Labrador girl has been charged with several offences after the alleged stolen car she was driving crashed into a police vehicle in Upper Coomera today (December 3).
At around 10am police observed a stolen Holden Commodore utility travelling northbound on the Gold Coast Highway, Surfers Paradise.
Police, including Polair, monitored and tracked the vehicle.
Around 10.30am police observed the car as it turned into Stacer Street, Upper Coomera. Two police cars turned into the street shortly after.
It will be alleged the girl driving the vehicle then performed a U-turn before colliding head on with an unmarked police car.
