Hall of Fame jockey removed from rides at Geelong, in doubt for Flemington
Damien Oliver is the subject of a stewards’ inquiry after being removed from his rides at Friday’s Geelong meeting.
Oliver was engaged for two rides, in Races 4 and 8, but stewards released a notification at 12:45pm announcing that he was ‘unavailable for all rides at this meeting’.
Chairman of stewards at the meeting, James Hitchcock, said it was a result of a ‘possible protocol breach’.
