Daly Cherry-Evans has admitted that he fears getting “the tap” from the Manly Sea Eagles, amid speculation over a club switch.
Cherry-Evans, the Manly and Queensland captain, has had his named linked to the Bulldogs, Broncos and Rabbitohs recently. It has been speculated that the Sea Eagles may wish to offload his contract, worth more than $1 million per season, to free-up their salary cap.
“It makes you nervous for sure,” Cherry-Evans told Nine NRL reporter Danny Weidler, in his Sun Herald column.
