Cyclist killed in accident north of Brisbane identified as Scottish civil engineer

A young man who died after crashing his bicycle into a car north of Brisbane while training for a triathlon has been remembered as “a genuinely great guy”.
Graeme Pearson, 31, died at the scene of the accident at Mount Nebo, in the Moreton Bay region, on Saturday morning.
Preliminary police investigations indicate the car he crashed into was stationary.
Pearson, who lived at Coorparoo, was a Scottish national who had lived in Brisbane for the past decade while working as a civil engineer.
