Customer gets severe burns from McDonald’s coffee – Stuff.co.nz
An 18-year old bought two coffees in the McDonald’s drive through, only to be severely burnt when the lid of one popped off.
A quick coffee run through the McDonalds drive-through in Palmerston North has given an unsuspecting customer severe burns.
Aareta Mohi, 18, ordered a long black and a mocha from McDonalds Princess St on August 17.
She declined a cup holder, and placed the mocha, then long black into the cup holder in her car.
When she grabbed the long black the cup was hot, hard to hold and the lid popped off, spilling scalding hot coffee on her hand.
