What people are seeing is a rugby league role model passed out unconscious in a public park after hours of drinking, intoxicated, half-clothed, shouting at the police. Never mind that Scott did nothing wrong. The image fixed in the subconscious league mind is the diametric opposite: another league player disgracing himself in public.
