Cricket Australia grassroots girls program trying to make cricket the top sport for young girls – ABC News
Women have taken up cricket in massive numbers over the past few years, and the sport’s governing body wants to make it the number one choice for Aussie girls.
Ellyse Perry, Meg Lanning and Alyssa Healy have become household names thanks to their starring roles for Australia, and the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) becoming a summer fixture.
