NEW YORK (WABC) — We’re another step closer to getting another vaccine on the market.Novavax is expected to finish its trial in May, and at that time could submit to the FDA for emergency use authorization.
That’s after announcing the company’s UK trial showed 100% protection against hospitalizations and death.The trial data also showed it was 96% effective in symptomatic disease caused by the original virus, and 86% effective against the variant that originated in the UK.
