Trials for a leading contender for a potential coronavirus vaccine have been put on hold following a setback.
A participant in the Oxford Universitys AstraZeneca vaccine suffered an adverse reaction, it was revealed on Wednesday.
The exact nature and severity of their reaction were not immediately known.
However, they are expected to fully recover.
An AstraZeneca spokesperson said the pause was routine.
