A webinar run by the Consumers Health Forum this month set out the schedule for Covid vaccination in Australia.
Professor Michael Kidd, principal medical adviser to the Department of Health, said the aims of the program were first to prevent death and disease, then hopefully to prevent transmission of the virus and eventually aim for herd immunity.
The Pfizer vaccine will be available at the end of February with 80,000 doses per week to be delivered. The Astra-Zeneca vaccine should be approved shortly…
