COVID update: Brisbane hotel quarantine cleaner in tests positive to coronavirus
A cleaner who works in hotel quarantine in Queensland has tested positive for COVID-19.
The woman developed symptoms on Wednesday and before she returned a positive result on Thursday.
She works in the Hotel Grand Chancellor on Leichhardt Street in Brisbane city.
The Algester woman’s diagnosis has prompted Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk to warn anyone with symptoms to immediately get tested, particularly those in her suburb and nearby Sunnybank Hills and Calamvale.
