COVID restrictions set to be eased in Greater Brisbane

Greater Brisbane is “100 per cent” on track to have COVID-19 restrictions eased on Friday, according to Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk.
For the ninth day in a row, no new locally-transmitted cases have been reported overnight on Wednesday.
If the same result is recorded on Thursday, restrictions can be lifted at 1am on Friday.
“It’s all looking very positive, and we’ll be able to advise the Greater Brisbane region tomorrow will be able to ease,” Palaszczuk said.
