Covid: Oxford vaccine team ‘assessing’ possibility of making pills or nasal sprays – The Independent

The team behind the Oxford coronavirus vaccine is assessing the possibility of creating tablets or nasal sprays to replace jabs in the future, lead researcher Sarah Gilbert has said.
Appearing in front of the Commons Science and Technology Committee, Professor Gilbert also warned that easing Covid restrictions too quickly could result in higher transmission and increase the risk of new variants emerging with more resistance to existing vaccines.
