COVID live updates: Queensland tightens border restrictions in response to worsening COVID outbreaks in NSW, SA

Only returning Queensland residents will be allowed to enter the state from South Australia and the New South Wales local government areas of Orange, Blayney and Cabonne.

The restrictions took effect at 1:00am after hotspot declarations earlier in the week.
