COVID live updates: Coronavirus fragments detected in Melbourne wastewater catchment
Residents of Melbourne’s outer west who have even mild COVID-19 symptoms are being urged to get tested, after viral fragments were detected in the local wastewater catchment.
The sample was collected on Monday and was confirmed by further testing. The catchment includes some or all of Taylors Hill, Plumpton, Hillside, Sydenham, Delahey, Caroline Springs, Burnside Heights, Kings Park and Deer Park.
