Covid in Scotland: ‘Other steps’ to control virus – BBC News
First Minister Nicola Sturgeon will review the lockdown measures and consider “other steps” that can be taken to keep the virus under control.
The first minister is asked how many
people in Scotland she expects to have been vaccinated by the end of the week, and what number of supplies have been allocated to Scotland.
Nicola Sturgeon says the aim is to do all the over-70s by the middle of February, which is the key date.
She would also expect
many over-65s to be vaccinated this week as well.
The government is “on track” to meet their target of all over-80s being vaccinated before this Friday, Ms Sturgeon adds.
