COVID fragments detected in sewage in Rockhampton North and Maryborough catchments
Fragments of COVID have been detected in wastewater in two locations in Queensland, prompting a warning from authorities.
The virus was detected in Rockhampton North and Maryborough sewage catchments, Queensland Health said on Thursday.
The Rockhampton North catchment receives sewage from Parkhurst, Norman Gardens, Kawana, Park Avenue, Frenchville, Beserker, Koongal, The Common and Lakes Creek.
