GP surgeries have been told to ready themselves for shipments of coronavirus vaccines in a matter of days.
The vaccination sites must be ready to administer 975 doses of the vaccine to priority patients within three-and-a-half days of delivery on December 14.
However it will be a complex process, as the all-important vaccines have to be stored below -70C.
The shots are seen as vital to restoring the UK to business as usual and will be dished out at Covid-19 vaccination centres.
