These are the first cases in a thousand within ten days.
Seven more COVID-19 deaths were confirmed by the Ministry of Health tonight.
777 new cases of the virus were also reported fewer than 1,000 for the first time in the last ten days.
Two thirds of the cases that evening are under 45 years old.
42 of the falls are in Meath and less than five falls are in Louth.
The 14-day incidence rate per 100,000 in Meath is now 661.9 and 283.2 in Louth.
