COVID-19 Patients: 80% of Them Are Vitamin D Deficient, Study Claims – ClickLancashire

More than 80% of coronavirus patients in a Spanish hospital were deficient in vitamin D, compared to about 47% of healthy people with similar demographics.
The findings revealed that patients with untreated vitamin D deficiency were nearly twice as likely to test positive for SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, compared to patients who were not deficient in the vitamin.
