The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, which has wreaked havoc worldwide, severely impacted the mental health of young people with increased levels of clinical depression being identified, a new study suggested.
The findings of the study were published in the journal ‘Psychiatry Research’. Apart from increased levels of clinic depression being reported, a decrease in alcohol consumption was identified amongst young people during the pandemic.
