COVID-19 has not slowed down Australia’s law enforcement. Transnational crime groups are still trying to import illicit drugs any way they can, exploiting Australians for profit.
Australia’s law enforcement agencies continue to work hard to protect us from harmful illicit drugs, and will stop criminal activity anywhere, anytime. This snapshot shows significant drug detections between December 2019 – August 2020.

We will continue targeting criminals and illicit drugs during and beyond COVID-19 to keep Australians safe.
