TWICE as many first-home buyers are looking to enter the market since before the COVID-19 pandemic, exclusive new research reveals.

Low interest rates, high rents and government incentives have sparked the buying frenzy,

according to a survey commissioned by Westpac and conducted by Lonergan Research.
