CANBERRA, July 23 (Xinhua) — Australians who have died from COVID-19 have lost more years of their life expectancy than those dying from other leading causes of death, a study has found.
The report on Australia’s health in 2020, published by the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) on Thursday, revealed that the median age at death for COVID-19 was 80 years, compared to 84 for coronary heart disease, 88 for dementia, and 86 for stroke.
