Courageous or cut-throat: Adani changes name to Bravus – The Australian Financial Review
Adani Mining chief executive David Boshoff said the name change to Bravus Mining and Resources was not because the Adani brand was seen as toxic.

The new name Bravus Mining and Resources will be launched through an advertising and social media campaign, mostly through regional Queensland where most of its jobs are filled.
He admitted changing the name was a “difficult decision” but the company, which also owns the 65 megawatt Ruby Run solar farm in Queensland, wanted to forge a new identity.
Mr Boshoff said “bravus” was medieval Latin for “courageous”. Other definitions on the Internet described it as meaning “cut-throat” or “a villain” not…
