Couple who held on for life after car crash die

A man and woman have died in hospital after succumbing to their injuries form a car crash almost two weeks ago.
A 77-year-old man and an 81-year-old woman were victims of the crash that occurred just after 2pm on Wednesday, March 17 at Morayfield.
Police said a white late model Mitsubishi ASX was exiting northbound from the Bruce Highway into a service station when it collided with a Mazda3.
The couple were two of seven people who were taken to hospital, however, they were the only patients with critical injuries.
Four people were initially trapped and firefighters worked to remove everyone from both vehicles.
Forensic Crash Unit investigators are urging anyone who noticed the white ASX in the lead-up to the crash to come forward.
