Will Pucovski has checked in with an injured David Warner, as the Victorian firms to replace the veteran opener and make his Test debut against India next month….

Warner’s manager James Erskine said the plan had been for Warner to be rested after the second game but only time would tell if he could recover in time.
The home side will give the 84-Test veteran every opportunity to prove his fitness but the injury has heightened the prospect of Pucovski, 22, joining incumbent Joe Burns at the top of the order.
Pucovski has been in scintillating form with Victoria, toasting back-to-back double centuries and earning a berth in an extended 17-man Test squad.
