Cosmopolitan UK has defended its most recent cover after it was labelled “dangerous” and accused of “celebrating obesity during a pandemic”.
The February magazine cover features three women of different shapes wearing exercise gear, along with the headline: “This is healthy!”
British broadcaster Piers Morgan described the cover choice as “reckless” and “irresponsible” on ITV’s Good Morning Britain, later taking to Twitter to further explain his view.
