Corvette C8 Owners Concerned Over Damage To Exposed AC Condensers – Motor1
Some Corvette C8 owners are expressing concern about the air conditioning condensers, which are mounted behind the front fascia and can be easily damaged.
Update: In a statement to Motor1.com, a GM spokesperson said the following:
“What people are seeing is cosmetic. We have determined that it does not degrade the performance of the vehicle.”
The prominent corner vents on the C8 Chevrolet Corvette’s front fascia are a defining design feature. They’re also functional, allowing airflow to reach the air conditioning condensers and engine radiators mounted behind them.
