A national lockdown in Wales cannot be ruled out.
That is the message from Wales’ Heath Minister Vaughan Gething who is considering restrictions for the whole country as a way of dealing with the increasing tide of confirmed cases in Wales.
First Minister Mark Drakeford said that a national lockdown was not the “preferred option” because “what would be right for Caerphilly, would certainly not at this moment, be right for Ceredigion.
