An analysis of seven international trials has found that treating critically-ill COVID-19 patients with steroids can reduce mortality risks by 20 per cent, which has prompted the WHO to recommend steroid treatment.
Meanwhile a British COVID-19 victims group representing more than 1,400 bereaved families have labelled Prime Minister Boris Johnson “heartless” for refusing to meet with them.
