Coronavirus travel restrictions are back, as new cluster exposes divisions that are far from resolved
The rapid reintroduction of travel restrictions in response to Sydney’s Northern Beaches COVID cluster has not only ruined Christmas plans, it has exposed the divisions over how best to deal with this year-old pandemic remain far from resolved.
On Thursday, spirits were high. The nation was looking more united than it had all year. With Christmas around the corner, the Treasurer unveiled a much rosier budget outlook and the Prime Minister was upbeat.
