A rash on the inside of the mouth may be another addition to the growing list of coronavirus symptoms, researchers believe.
Italian scientists have reported six cases of enanthem – rash-like lesions in the oral cavity – being found in COVID-19 patients.
Aged in their 40s to 60s, they were found within a group of 21 patients who had both COVID-19 and external skin rash.
It is believed enanthem appeared the in patients about 12 days after the onset of other symptoms, on average.
